9th Annual Killington Wine Festival - July 16-18, 2010 The Killington Wine Festival returns for the ninth year from Friday July 16 through Sunday July 18, 2010. Over the last 8 years, the Killington Wine Festival has become a signature event for the Killington region each July. Enjoy a nice summer weekend tasting fine wines from around the world with Killington Peak and the Green Mountains of Vermont as a scenic backdrop. At "The Crush Wine Bar" meet vintners and wine representatives behind some of the wines being sampled over the weekend at the Killington Wine Festival. The Killington Wine Festival Grand Tasting at 4241' – Saturday July 17, 2010 With the Green Mountains as a backdrop, sample 400 wines at 2 venues on Killington Peak. Start at the K1 Gondola base where a festive tent welcomes you to begin your sampling adventure. Ride the K1 Gondola to the top of Killington (4241 feet elevation) and sample more fine wines from around the world. The Grand Tasting at 4241’ takes place from 1 to 4 PM at the Killington Resort. The dinner will be featuring wines from Domain Sipp Mack Vinyard from the regions of Hunawihr, Ribeauvillé and Bergheim France. Laura Sipp Mack, Owner of the Vinyard and Winery in France, will be presenting and discussing the wines at our 4 course Wine Pairing Dinner. Gerd Hirschmann from Vermont Wine Merchants, importer and distributor of Domain Sipp Mack wines, will also be presenting that evening. The night's festivities will begin at 6:30 pm.
