Getting to Killington
Amtrak
Amtrak services Rutland once daily. Rutland is approximately 15 minutes from Killington and ground transportation is available through several providers. The trip takes about 5.5 hours and costs approximately $140 round trip. The Ethan Allen Express leaves Penn Station, NYC everyday at 3:45pm via Albany, NY and arrives in Rutland at 9:05pm (except Fridays, when it leaves at 5:45 pm and arrives at 11:30 pm). Daily departure from Rutland, VT is at 7:40 am each morning (except Sunday when it departs at 4:40 pm). The Vermonter line also serves the area daily, leaving from New York Penn and arriving in White River Junction, VT (1 hour east of Killington).
