12/2 Brandon, Brandon Free Public Library Holiday Benefit Auction. Join the Friends of the Brandon Free Public Library for their annual holiday auction. Over 50 local artists donate holiday wreaths, decor and artwork for the event. Entertainment, refreshments, and door prizes. Music and preview at 3pm. 12/2 Killington, Killington Grand Resort Hotel. Killington Mountain Signature Chefs Auction to benefit March of Dimes. Featuring culinary masterpieces by Vermont's top chefs, with fine music, games, raffles, silent & live auctions. 5:00 to 8:00pm, tickets are $75 per person, to benefit the March of Dimes mission to save babies. 12/9 Killington, Telemark Demo Day. Mountain Travelers Hike and Ski Shop brings some of the top telemark manufacturers to Killington for a day of demos and an opportunity to ski the latest gear. This event is free to anyone with a lift ticket for the day or valid season pass. For more information visit:

12/14 and 12/16 West Rutland, Trust Us Film Series presented by Chaffee Art Center. Westway Theater is the venue for this funny and touching adaptation of Pulitzer Prize-winner Jhumpa Lahiri’s novel about two generations of Bengali-Americans attempting to reconcile the world of their collective past with that of their individual futures. 12/15 Killington, The Grist Mill Toys for Tots Fundraiser. Bring a toy or donation of $10 to the event. This very successful annual fundraiser donates proceeds to the Women’s Shelter in Rutland.
