Rutland, FRIDAY NIGHT ART HOP, with stops at Chaffee Art Center, Paramount Brick Box, Center Street Artisans and more. Pick up a map and schedule of events at the Chaffee Art Center, 5:00 to 8:00PM. Event takes place on the 2nd Friday of each month, throughout the year!

Private Horse-Drawn Sleigh Rides

Join us for a private horse-drawn sleigh ride through the fields of the historic and picturesque Billings Farm. You will be greeted at the Visitor Center by our friendly staff and escorted to the farm barns to board the sleigh pulled by our Percheron teams, Jim & Joe or Daisy & Purse. Snuggle under warm woolen blankets as you traverse the fields and enjoy a cup of hot-spiced cider upon your return. Included in your private visit: Horse Barn, Calf Nursery, and Dairy Barn. A Place in the Land (our Academy Award nominated film), Upon This Land Exhibit and The Museum Shop. 2/5 Killington, Wobbly Barn 12th Annual Mardi Gras Ball. Everyone is welcome and all ages are invited to dine in the Steakhouse; chef Steve will be serving a special “Queen’s Dinner” menu in the Steakhouse with incredible Creole and Cajun selections. Festivities upstairs begin at 8:00PM. You must be at least 21 and in costume to attend the festivities upstairs. Don’t have a costume? 2/7 Woodstock, Town Hall Theater, Yu Wei Chinese Cultural Dance Company, 7:30pm. Inspired by the synergy between dance, poetry, and music that flourished in Tang dynasty China over 1200 years ago; accomplished choreographer-dancer Yu Wei presents a 90 minute multi-media performance of captivating dance visions and compelling short films. 2/16 through 18, 2/23 & 24 Woodstock, Billings Farm & Museum’s Sleigh Ride Weekends 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This popular winter event will feature sleigh rides, sledding with jack jumper sleds, tours of the dairy farm and farmhouse, and interactive programs. In commemoration of President’s Day, hands-on activities will include making presidential silhouettes and making and sampling favorite cookies of the Presidents. The restored and furnished 1890 Farm House will be open for touring, featuring the farm office, family living quarters, creamery, and ice house. Sleigh Ride Weekend admission includes sleigh rides and sledding, the farm, farm house and activities, plus A Place in the Land, an Academy Award® nominee film.

2/23 Killington, Taylor Lauren - Uncommon Threads to host ROCK N’ ROLL FASHION SHOW at the Wobbly Barn, 5:00PM to 8:00PM. Area retailers join in showcasing their goods at this rocking event.
