Killington Resort
Killington Resort, in the heart of the Green Mountains of Vermont is home to skiers and riders who take their fun seriously. If you’re looking for exhilaration, fulfillment and the ultimate release, Killington is your winter destination. When day turns to night, Killington does an impression of the city that never sleeps with a 5-mile stretch of nightclubs, restaurants and taverns that have earned Killington a reputation as having the best nightlife in ski country.
Killington offers unparalleled variety. You’ll enjoy more mountains than you can ski in a week and the local lodging options are no different. From convenient motor inns, to the posh Grand Hotel or a private home rental, you’ll find what you’re looking for.

Killington first opened for business on Dec. 13, 1958 with a converted chicken coop serving as a ticket booth. It is now the largest ski resort in the East featuring the most extensive snowmaking system in North America.

Pico Mountain
Pico Mountain, situated on Route 4 just east of Rutland, VT is big mountain skiing and riding with classic New England appeal. The resort features a central base area that makes it easy to stay connected with family and friends throughout the day. The rustic base lodge includes an expansive sun deck and roaring stone fireplace.

Pico Mountain features slopeside and walk-to slope lodging options that are tailored to families and groups. Located in the base village is the Pico Sports Center with a 75-foot heated pool, free weights and aerobic classes.

Pico first opened to the public on Thanksgiving Day in 1937 with a rope tow that was powered by a six cylinder Hudson engine.
