INTERNET MARKETING:
The Killington Chamber website (www.killingtonchamber.com) promotes the Killington Region, its events and chamber members. Our website was redesigned in late 2010, making it more search engine friendly, user friendly and intuitive. The site contains member listings with business descriptions and links to the business website, as well as a page dedicated to showcasing members’ special offers. We have also included a rotating seasonal promotions tool on our homepage, a “Submit Your Event” option for members to advertise business events and more interactive content for website users. The Killington Chamber E-Newsletter is sent to consumers who opt in through the chamber website or sign up in person. Membership benefits include:

PRINT MARKETING:
The Killington Chamber directory is produced annually. It is used as a fulfillment piece for chamber and walk-in inquiries and is also distributed in the Killington Chamber vestibule brochure rack (accessible 24 hours a day), throughout the region, at State of Vermont Welcome Centers and at consumer shows. In addition, chamber members also have the opportunity to advertise in Killington Resort's newest publication, Killington 4,241' Magazine at discounted rates.

The Chamber Office/Information Center on Route 4 in Killington provides direct customer referrals as well as high profile display of your brochures, special promotions, and business cards.
MEMBER-TO-MEMBER MARKETING:
The Killington Chamber provides the perfect platform to partner with other Killington businesses and to advance your own. Immersion into the local business community offers unparalleled access for business to business opportunities, experiential sharing, and consensus ideas that migrate forward to legislators, regulators and more. There are many opportunities for business promotion and meeting people. With monthly mixers and seasonal socials, you have the opportunity to network with other area business people. Or, you can have an active voice in directly shaping future events and the focus of the Killington Chamber by participating on a chamber committee or speak directly to consumers by volunteering at a chamber event. You can even promote your business in a high profile manner by donating gift certificates and products to be used as prizes for events attended by members of the local community and visitors from the Northeast and beyond. Broadcast Emails You may submit two emails
per year for distribution to chamber members highlighting an event or a
promotion, free of charge. Each additional e-mail is $50.00 |

Monthly Mixers The chamber’s monthly mixers, held the first Tuesday of every month from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., provide the opportunity to network with other chamber mixers. You also have the opportunity to host a Chamber Mixer directly showcasing your business. |

Member Mailing Labels You may receive one set of free member mailing labels annually. Additional sets of labels are available for $50/set. |

Seasonal Socials The chamber hosts seasonal socials to network and have fun in an alternative outdoor setting. These socials include golf, skiing, snowshoeing, and our annual Wacky Winter Games. |

Regional Representation The chamber provides regional representation at the Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing, Rutland Regional Chamber of Commerce, Woodstock Chamber of Commerce, the Vermont Association of Chamber Executives, the Rutland Economic Development Corporation and the Downtown Rutland Partnership. |
PROMOTIONAL EVENTS:
The Killington Chamber has a presence at numerous consumer shows throughout the Northeast. As a member, you have an opportunity to attend ski shows, travel expos and more as a representative of the chamber. These shows allow us to extend the recognition of Killington as a year-round resort destination and increase our consumer database and media/business contact lists, as well as reinforce the desirability of Killington as a destination. Events also create press opportunities, bring visitors to the region and promote repeat business. The Killington Chamber of Commerce has established signature events spread across the calendar year to promote our region, including The Killington Wine Festival and The Vermont Holiday Festival.

Killington Chamber of Commerce members are eligible for discounted Killington/Pico ski passes for business owners & employees. Merchant Passes are valid Sunday-Friday, excluding some holidays and peak periods. (Limited to business in the Town of Killington and boardering towns, including Mendon, Pittsfield, Bridgewater and Plymouth. Attendence at a "Community Information Session" required before receiving pass.) Contact the Chamber for more information.
