Where do I pick up my tickets for the Killington Wine Festival?

Your tickets for Estate Tasting, Pop Goes the Cork or Grand Tasting will be held in will call at the respective event entrance.  Please be ready to give us the last name used to purchase the tickets. This also applies to tickets purchased through lodging packages.

Can I buy tickets at the event?

You can buy tickets at the event entrance as long as it is not sold out.  Please note that payments are only accepted by cash or check. (We cannot process credit or debit cards.)

Are tickets refundable?

All tickets are non-refundable.  If you make a mistake while purchasing tickets online, please call us right away and we can help you adjust your order.

Is there a dress code for Killington Wine Festival Events?

There is not a dress code for Killington Wine Festival events.  You can wear whatever you are most comfortable in.  Guests tend to get more dressed up for the Friday evening events at the Grand Hotel.  We suggest dressy-casual attire for the Estate Tasting and Pop Goes the Cork Party.  For the Grand Tasting on Saturday, you should wear comfortable shoes as you will be standing & walking around the tent.  We do not recommend wearing spiked high heels because you will be walking on a grassy and sometimes slightly uneven surface.  Be sure to check the weather and dress accordingly for the outside events.  If you plan on taking the complimentary gondola ride on Saturday, please keep in mind that it is usually about ten degrees cooler at Killington Peak.  We highly recommend dressing in comfortable layers!

What happens if there is bad weather?

If there is inclement weather on Friday evening, the Pop Goes the Cork Party will be moved inside.  The Grand Tasting on Saturday is held under a sturdy tent and is a rain-or-shine event.  Complimentary gondola rides could be affected by high winds.  Incase of inclement weather on Sunday, please check with Green Mountain National Golf Course regarding the Wine and Nine Golf Scramble.

How much food is served at each event?

Friday Evening Events: There will be light hors d' oeuvres at the Estate Tasting.  If you're attending the Estate Tasting, we recommend making plans for dinner following the event or attending the Pop Goes the Cork Party for dinner. There will be heavy hos d' oeuvres and a carving station at the Pop Goes the Cork Party.
Saturday Grand Tasting:
There will be hors d' oeuvres and samples of specialty foods at the Grand Tasting. There will be an array of light food such as cheese, crackers, bruschetta, crudités and fruit.  We recommend having a light lunch before coming to the event and snacking while you're there.
