Experience Holiday Magic at the Vermont Holiday Festival December 9 & 10th, 2011

We are pleased to announce that the 2011 Vermont Holiday Festival will return to the Killington Grand Hotel!

Please join us for two great days of holiday fun & entertainment for all ages!
Friday, December 9th, 4:30-9 p.m.
Saturday, December 10th, 12-9pm

 

VHF Santa

Experience holiday magic, take in the smell of fresh balsam and create special memories at the 8th Annual Vermont Holiday Festival! The Festival takes place in the Grand Ballroom at the Killington Grand Resort Hotel and features the 'Festival of Trees', where 100 individually decorated trees are on display for your viewing pleasure! You’ll find live holiday music performances, horse-drawn sleigh rides, beverages to warm the spirit and the Jack Frost Marketplace- a great place to do your holiday shopping! At the Festival, you'll have the opporunity to enter to win your favorite tree to take home, including all of the trimmings!  Children will love Santa’s Workshop and enjoy a one-hour story telling and toy-making session, including a visit from Santa’s himself!


A portion of the proceeds from the Festival will go to the Vermont Foodbank to help to make the holidays more joyful for local needy families. General Festival Information: 

Tickets:
Admission to the 
Vermont Holiday Festival is just $5 & children ages 5 and under are free. General Admission tickets to the Vermont Holiday Festival can be purchased at the entrance to the Festival and includes a free horse-drawn sleigh ride, free face painting and free hot beverages including hot cocoa & coffee.

Santa's Workshop:

Admission to Santa's Workshop is an additional cost of $10 per child.  The Workshop is one hour long and includes a handcrafted toy and story time.  You can sign up your child and pay onsite at the Vermont Holiday Festival, no pre-registration is necessary.

Festival of Trees & Raffle:
Don't buy your Christmas Tree just yet! The Festival of Trees at the Vermont Holiday Festival features over 100 beautifully decorated trees that are put on display for your viewing pleasure!  Trees are decorated by local businesses and feature a unique theme.  Each tree & all the trimmings will be raffled off to a lucky winner!  Raffle tickets for the Festival of Trees will be sold throughout the weekend at the cost of $10 for 25 tickets or $5 for 10 tickets.  Trees will be raffled off at 8pm Saturday evening and can be picked up on Sunday morning.

Sleigh Rides:
Horse-drawn sleigh rides will leave every 15 minutes.  Snuggle up under a blanket and go dashing-through-the-snow!  You'll love the beautiful views of Killington Mountain & Snowshed Pond.  Best of all, sleighrides are free with admission!

Jack Frost Marketplace:
The Jack Frost Marketplace will be open during all festival hours and will feature unique Vermont Specialty products and gifts.  Visiting these vendors is a great place do your holiday shopping!  Please check back soon for a list of vendors & their wares.
