Bargains Galore at the Pico Ski Club Annual Ski/Snowboard Sale
MENDON, VT, August 24, 2020….Looking for great bargains in new and used ski/snowboard equipment and clothing? Here is your chance to get some great deals, plus a chance to win free lift tickets at the Pico Ski Club’s annual ski/snowboard sale. This year’s sale will be held September 24, 25 and 26, in conjunction with Pico’s Septemberfest (on Saturday, September 25) at Pico Mountain Resort on Route 4 between Rutland and Killington. The club is accepting consignments of gently used, clean clothing, and modern equipment. New and used (demo equipment) merchandise from local ski & snowboard shops First Stop Ski & Board Shop, Aspen East, Northern Ski Works and Killington Sports will also be featured at the sale.
Sale hours will be Friday, September 24 from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm; Saturday, September 25 from 9:00 am–5:00 pm; and Sunday, September 26 from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. New and used skis, snowboards, clothing and equipment for adults and children - from the recreational snow sports enthusiast to the seasoned racer - will fill the upper and lower levels of the Pico Base Lodge. VISA, MasterCard, cash and personal checks will be accepted for purchases. Look for Super Sunday Bargains on the last day of the sale, September 26.
Consignments of gently used, clean clothing and modern alpine equipment will be accepted during these hours: Saturday, September 18 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm and Sunday, September 19 from noon - 2:00 pm at the Pico Retail shop on the upper level of the Pico base lodge. On Thursday, September 23 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm and Friday, September 24 from 11:00 am – 9:00 pm, consignments will be accepted at the lower level of the Pico base lodge. All equipment must meet current safety standards.
Consignment forms can be downloaded directly from the Pico Ski Club website: www.picoskiclub.com. Click the ‘ski swap’ tab on the upper right corner, download a consignment form, follow the instructions and bring that with your items to Pico Resort. Pico Ski Club members will be present to assist with consignment forms and proper tagging of items.
Proceeds of the sale benefit Pico Ski Club programs. The Pico Ski Club was founded over 50 years ago and continues a skiing tradition- with a focus on families - through social activities, junior ski racing programs and organization of competitive events. Race registration forms for the upcoming ski season will also be available during the weekend sale.
