New England Maple Museum
The New England Maple Museum is conveniently located in the heart of Maple Country, nestled in the foothills of the Green Mountains, where Vermont's finest maple syrup is made. The museum offers a trip through over 200 years of maple sugaring history starting with the Native American discovery that maple sap cooked over an open fire produces a sweet syrup. FREE Vermont specialty food and syrup at the tasting counter. Open Daily Mid-March through December.

Plymouth Artisan Cheese
Handcrafted raw whole milk cheese, produced using one of America's oldest cheese recipes. Noted for its smooth texture and creamy taste, Plymouth is the second oldest cheese operation in the US. Our factory was founded in 1890 by John Coolidge, the father of President Calvin Coolidge. We are located 15 minutes from Killington on Rte100A at the Calvin Coolidge Historic Site in Plymouth Notch, VT. Please visit our historic factory, where visitors are encouraged to view Plymouth Cheese being made by hand. Our factory also features a museum dedicated to the history of Vermont cheesemaking.
