Chaffee Art Center
The Chaffee Art Center is the public "face" of the Rutland Area Art Association, a community resource that has provided Vermonters with opportunities to learn about and experience the visual arts for nearly fifty years. The Chaffee is the Rutland region's showplace, gathering place, studio and incubator space for the arts. The Killington Arts Guild was founded by artists, because we believe there are a variety of artists, people who are would be artists, or art lovers, all wanting to enhance and broaden their direction by being involved with the creative exchange of ideas and possibilities. Genuine encouragement and support are gained through networking opportunities, in discussing work or events and planning exhibit venues with people of like interests. Killington Arts Guild Art Gallery at Cabin Fever Gifts
Find paintings, sculptures, photography and prints on exhibit and for sale in the Art Gallery. There, you may view an extensive selection of Guild artists' works, as well as the Killington Arts Guild Gallery Show, at the Upstairs Gallery at Cabin Fever Gifts on Route 4, opposite the Killington Rd. Killington Arts Guild members are accomplished artists from Killington and the surrounding region. The members create works in a broad scope of mediums and subject matter. New England Maple Museum
The New England Maple Museum is conveniently located in the heart of Maple Country, nestled in the foothills of the Green Mountains, where Vermont's finest maple syrup is made. The museum offers a trip through over 200 years of maple sugaring history starting with the Native American discovery that maple sap cooked over an open fire produces a sweet syrup. President Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site
The Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site is considered one of the best preserved Presidential sites in the nation. In addition to the homestead, visitors may tour the Plymouth Cheese Factory - established by the President's father - and sample the granular curd cheese produced there. Other buildings open to the public include the Cilley General Store, the Post Office, the Wilder Restaurant (serving lunch), the church, several barns displaying farming tools of the era, the dance hall that served as the Summer White House, and the home where the future President was born. May 29 to October 17, 2020 Open daily, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The site's office, located in the Aldrich House,is open weekdays year-round and has exhibits especially designed for winter visitors

The Vermont Institute of Natural Science Entices and Excites People to Care for the Natural World. VINS’ programs and services engage and instill in people of all backgrounds a desire to care for the wildlife and diverse natural habitats they encounter in their daily lives. We offer relevant environmental education programs for adults, families, and school children; partner with leading conservation organizations to promote environmental science field research; and operate New England’s premier avian wildlife rehabilitation clinic at the VINS Nature Center. Vermont Marble Exhibit
Visit the world's largest Marble Museum! They've got over 100 displays depicting the history of the Vermont marble industry! Wilson Castle
This architectural masterpiece was built in the middle of the 19th Century in the heart of the Green Mountains. The Castle stands as a monument to the heritage of the past. The Castle has been the home of five generations of the Wilson family. The residence of the 115 acre estate has three floors spaciously divided into 32 rooms. The interior features are highlighted with 84 stained-glass windows and 13 fireplaces finished with imported tiles and bronze. The Castle's furnishings include Far Eastern and European antiques and museum pieces, complemented by statuary, Chinese scrolls, and Oriental rugs. The various rooms with their distinctive features provide an elegant and richly gracious interior. On the grounds are cattle barns, stables, the carriage house, and the glass house. Open seasonally for tours: We have guided tours daily from late May until late October, seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
