May 2013:

May - June: Youth Baseball

Using the beautiful fields on River Road, Killington Parks & Recreation provides a competitive and instructional environment for youth to develop their baseball skills. We offer teams for every age and ability including: Major League (5th & 6th grade); Minor League (3rd & 4th grade); Mighty Mites (1st & 2nd grade); T-Ball (Pre-K & Kindergarten). June 2013:

June 24 - August 16: Camp Loads of Fun 

Camp Loads of Fun provides the fun and camaraderie of a neighborhood full of kids. Campers will enjoy the experience of community games, artas and crafts and other projects. Located at the Johnson Recreation Center, campers will have the opportunity to enjoy other activities offered in the same location, including swim lessons, soccer camp, and tennis camp. June 24 - August 16: Rek & Trek Adventure Camp:

 Rek & Trek Adventure Camp provides kids with a wonderful opportunity to experience the great outdoors all summer long. Campers will be transported throughout the Killington region, taking part in various activities amongst the natural beauty that Vermont has to offer. Activities including tuing adventures along the White River, gondola rides at Killington Resort, hiking trips in the Green Mountains, Swimming in Quechee Gorge, and so much more! July 2013:

4:  4th of July Celebration: 

The 4th of July Celebration and Fireman's BBQ has become one of the most popular summer events in Killington! Beginning with the parade down River Road in the morning and ending with a unique fireworks show, you'll be sure to find something exciting to do all day. 

Wedesdays, July 10 - August 14:  Splash Theater: 

Bring your favorite pool float down to the Johnson Recreation Center Pool and enjoy a relaxing evening watching a movie while floating in the pool. Guests are welcome to bring food and non-alcoholic refreshments to enjoy before the movie.

Thurdays, July 11 - August 15: River Road Summer Concert Series: 

This outdoor concert series takes place on the Library Playing Fields on River Road. Bring a lawn chair, blanket, and a picnic basket for snacking and enjoy a variety of musical talents, while marveling the natural beauty of the hills on River Road. Shows start at 6 pm on Thursday evenings.

25: 1st Annual Killington Chili Cook-Off

The 1st Annual Killington Chili Cook-Off is sure to produce the best tasting chili in town! Join the competition and bring your finest chili to compete for the title of best chili in Killington, or stop by the Cook-Off to taste and judge the competitor's creations. To register as a competitor, please head to www.KillingtonRec.com. Tasting tickets will be available for purchase at the event via cash only.

September 2013:

29: Killington Scanveger Hunt:

Celebrate Hay Festival with the Killington Scavenger Hunt! Teams will receive a list of objects to be found throughout Killington and must then submit photos of a team member with the object for a chance to win great prizes! Team registration is available at www.KillingtonRec.com.
